Aquarian Bookshop:  Room Rental Agreement.
The Aquarian Bookshop is happy to offer our rooms for healing sessions, classes and workshops. Our goal is to assist those who are just beginning their classes & seminars, alternative healing or other, as well as to support those who are active and successful in their chosen path.

Classroom A: This space is located at the bookshop.  The classroom seats up to 20 people comfortably and it has been the site for many classes, workshops and healing sessions over 25 years.

Classroom W: This space is located at the Willow Lawn Shopping Center. It seats up 40 people comfortably. It has carpeting so it is a great space for any movement classes such as, belly dancing, yoga, martial arts etc. (Stop at the bookshop to pick up the key if you would like to see the space. $5 deposit required)

 

3 Easy Steps to Book Your space on our calendar:
1. Call the Store: (804) 353 5575 and book your date if it’s available in our calendar.
2. Email Rusty: events@aquarianbookshop.com with the info below by the 11th prior the month of your class:
a) TITLE of your class/lecture/workshop. (Please do not use long sentences.)
b) DESCRIPTION (a brief summary of your class - at least 80 but not more than 125 words.)
c) TIME  (start –end)
d) COST $ (if you have a pre-registration price include it as well)
e) CONTACT info to register. (Phone, email.) You are responsible for your registration unless           you have special arrangements with us.
f) PICTURE in .jpg format. This is only for the Email Newsletter. (If you do not have one we will use one from our library that best fits your class.)
3. Pay for your space. THE FULL AMOUNT IS DUE within 3 days from the time you book your space. We take CC over the phone; you can send us a check or pay with cash at the store. (see below)

Fee Schedule
Classroom A: $30  (0-2 hours, minimum) $45 for half day (2-4 hours) $80 for a full day (4-8 hours) Hourly rate of $25 will apply after 7PM. (all options include set up time for the presenter.) For example, your class must be 1.30 or less to fit in 2 Hour minimum. A ½ fee will be added automatically onto the initial rental amount to provide ample time for the presenter. Hourly rate of $25 will apply after 7PM.
Classroom W: $40  (0-2 hours, minimum) $70 for half day (2-4 hours) $120 for a full day (4-8 hours). This space is available Monday-Saturday 10Am-9PM, Sunday Noon – 5PM.
Your space on our calendar is ONLY guaranteed with the deposit. You can pay by cash or by check made out to the Aquarian Bookshop or by credit card by calling the Aquarian. The rental hours are 10am – 7pm. If your class is canceled for any reason all deposits are forfeit.

Promotion is the key to success!
We list your services in our monthly newsletter: paper and email version; however we do not make any guarantees that you will get walk-in participation from it. We do this service free of charge. It is not part of the rent fee that you pay for the space. You need to promote your services as well. This is to insure that your event is successful, as in any business. Our experience is that successful events take place when you put the needed time into promoting your event via flyers, your mailing lists and/or e-mail lists or any other electronic (facebook.com, twitter.com, myspace.com etc.) or print media. You may also send out an individual “online blast” to advertise your event at $75.00. All online advertising is subject to time availability and must be sent as a PDF for the $75.00 cost. Your “e-blast” will be sent out 2 weeks (or more if you desire) in advance of your class date. Please email: office@aquarianbookshop.com
We encourage you to:
1) Have your flyers in store 3-4 weeks in advance if at all possible.
2) Plan time for setting up for your class and for cleaning up afterwards. Please return the room to its original condition.
3) There is one TV and DVD set in the classroom available to you. You are responsible for any extra equipment.
Cancellation Policy:
50 % refund if canceled more than 2 weeks prior the class. No refunds if less than 2 weeks.
NOTE: The Aquarian Bookshop and its representatives, maintains the option to observe or attend any classes in their entirety, while in session.
